We are back from a great vacation! We ate at a lot of really interesting restaurants in California, and Kelly is rested, refreshed and full of new ideas! While we were closed for vacation, Kelly Jae's Cafe got a very nice face lift... new carpet, fresh paint, new linens, fresh flowers, and a bigger kitchen! So now we've decided to combine the menus for Kelly Jae's Cafe and Kelly Jae's Next Door... We'll just have one menu for both, and you can have anything you want on either side!

In the coming months, we'll be featuring more live music in the bar, so mark your calendars!

Saturday, March 24: Jabberwock (Jazz trio) 6-9
Friday, March 30: Kris Brownlee Duo (piano/sax) 6-9

Not until it was pointed out to me did I know that our waitress was one of the owners. This I liked a lot, as would anyone I am guessing. Kind of like being upgraded to first class without knowing it; you know that you will be taken care of right kind of deal. We also did not have just one server but many. Whenever our water was low in the glass a server would come over and fill it; not necessarily the same server either. We had placed most of the order at the same time and they timed it perfectly; everything came out at the precise right time, and nothing had sat under lights to keep it warm.
