Thank You for Eating Local!

Welcome to our blog! We’ll use this space to update you on weekly specials, monthly events and community partnerships. Most importantly, we want to thank you, our customers, for eating local in Goshen!

On the menu this week, we’ve brought back a popular item: Watermelon Salad. Cool and crisp, we’ve topped it off with feta cheese, Castelvetrano olives, reduced balsamic and fresh mint. The juicy melon adds a nice hint of sweetness.

We’re also featuring succulent duck bacon this week in our Charcuterie Board and Sweet Corn Wontons. For our large plate, we’ve added duck tenderloin with spaghetti noodles, red pepper, snap peas and carrots in our Duck Crunchy Noodle Salad.

At Kelly Jae’s, we’re proud to use duck products from Maple Leaf Farms in nearby Milford. The company has a long tradition of being a leader in the duck industry. Duck has a rich, bold flavor that’s unique and pairs with many items from our kitchen. It’s also a healthy choice!  Did you know that a skinless duck breast has fewer calories and less fat than a similar portion of chicken, beef or pork!

We’re also getting rave reviews about our Pineapple Pork Stack with pineapple-ginger-habanero salsa and sweet potato curls, which mixes some fruity heat with a favorite spud.

We had a great crowd last Friday in the bar when we hosted HiFi2WiFi during First Friday. We appreciate everyone who came out to rock with us! Mark your calendars for Aug. 5 when the band plays again.

Looking ahead, July and August are great months to plan a friends-night-out! Kelly Jae’s Cafe and ‪‎Red Diamond Services are partnering to bring fine dining and chauffeur services together on Friday and Saturday nights. After a fun-filled day on the lake, BOOK a TABLE (574) 537-1027, BOOK a RIDE (574) 229-6722 and leave the driving to Red Diamond Services!

Remember to share food, drink, love and Life!

Cheers,
